Bang Khunnon Investigation Police Arrest Motorcycle Theft Suspects Within 24 Hours, Seize Stolen Motorcycle and Evidence

Under the supervision of Pol. Col. Uthen Tangpitaksamer, Superintendent of Bang Khunnon Metropolitan Police Station; Pol. Lt. Col. Napat Onwong, Deputy Superintendent of Investigation, Bang Khunnon Metropolitan Police Station; and Pol. Lt. Col. Chalengsak Singthong, Inspector of Investigation, Bang Khunnon Metropolitan Police Station;

Officers from Bang Khunnon Metropolitan Police Station received a report from the victim that on March 20, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., the victim had parked a black Honda ADV 160 motorcycle beside a building in Soi Bang Khunnon 3, Bang Khunnon Road, Bang Khunnon Subdistrict, Bangkok Noi District, Bangkok.

Later, on March 21, 2026, at approximately 9:00 a.m., the victim discovered that the motorcycle had gone missing. Investigation officers from Bang Khunnon Metropolitan Police Station immediately conducted inquiries and tracked down the suspects.

As a result, officers were able to arrest two suspects involved in the incident. They were charged with “jointly committing theft at night by using a vehicle to facilitate the offense or to carry away the stolen property.”

The arrests were made on March 21, 2026, at approximately 7:00 p.m. at a parking area in Soi Boon-Chan, Ratchaphruek–Nonthaburi 1 Road, Bang Si Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Nonthaburi Province, and subsequently at approximately 9:00 p.m. at a rented room in Soi Bang Kruai–Sai Noi 34, Bang Si Thong Subdistrict, Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province.

The suspects were identified as:

  1. Mr. Ratthaphum, age 21
  2. Mr. Somsak, also known as “Tai,” age 40

Seized evidence included:

  1. One dark blue long-sleeved hooded jacket belonging to Mr. Somsak
  2. One black long-sleeved shirt belonging to Mr. Ratthaphum
  3. One pair of black trousers belonging to Mr. Ratthaphum
  4. One black full-face motorcycle helmet with patterns belonging to Mr. Ratthaphum
  5. One purple Yamaha Fino motorcycle belonging to Mr. Ratthaphum, used in the commission of the offense
  6. One black Honda ADV 160 motorcycle, the stolen motorcycle recovered as evidence

The suspects, together with the seized evidence, were handed over to the inquiry officer at Bang Khunnon Metropolitan Police Station for further legal proceedings.
