Our Journey of Pride
The Beginning
Bang Khun Non Metropolitan Police Station was first established as the "Wat Ruak Police Sub-station," under the supervision of the Bang Kok Noi Police Station. A non-commissioned officer served as the head, tasked only with patrolling, crime prevention, and arrests.
A Change in Command
A commissioned officer was appointed as the head of the sub-station and was granted the authority to handle fines for criminal and traffic offenses.
An Upgrade
The sub-station was promoted to the "Wat Ruak Metropolitan Police Station," with an Inspector as the station chief, officially beginning to handle criminal and traffic complaints in its jurisdiction.
Official Renaming
The Ministry of Interior ordered the creation of the "Chief Inspector" position as station head and renamed the station from "Wat Ruak" to "Bang Khun Non Metropolitan Police Station".
"This officially took effect on October 14, 1988, as announced in the Royal Gazette, Volume 105, Section 178, dated November 1, 1988."
The New Headquarters
The station relocated to its new and current building at 63/5 Bang Khun Non Road to accommodate increased responsibilities and provide more efficient public service.
A Mission for the People
Bang Khun Non Metropolitan Police Station serves as a local law enforcement agency, playing a crucial role in maintaining peace and order, protecting lives and property, and closely collaborating with the community.
